FORT LEAVENWORTH, Kan. The Army is putting some of its latest high-tech combat gear on display next week at Fort Leavenworth.

The display will be on view Tuesday and Wednesday at the Command and General Staff College, where the Army educates midlevel officers in tactics and strategies.

Sponsored by Program Executive Office Soldier, the event features the most current soldier protection and individual equipment, as well as weapons, sensors and lasers.

The Program Executive Office Soldier is responsible for designing, developing and sustaining almost every piece of equipment a soldier wears or carries in combat.
