National Guard and Army Reserve majors of the basic branches with dates of rank of April 1, 2007, through March 31, 2008, will be in the primary zone for promotion selection by a board that convenes Jan. 8.

Army Reserve majors with dates of rank of April 1, 2008, through March 31, 2009, will constitute the below-zone category for the annual Army Promotion List board slated to be in session until Jan. 25.

A below-zone category is not authorized for National Guard officers.

Evaluation reports submitted for this board must arrive at Human Resources Command by Dec. 28.

Code 9 complete-the-record reports are authorized for officers who meet the criteria of Army Regulation 623-3 (Evaluation Reporting System).

The required thru date for code 9 reports is Sept. 29, 2012.
