Staff sergeants of the Regular Army and Active Guard and Reserve (Army Reserve) will be given a Qualitative Service Program retention screening in February if they have an E-6 date of rank of Feb. 4, 2009, and earlier; a basic active service date of Feb. 5, 1992, and later, and hold one of the following military occupational specialties:
