Stewart-Hunter soldier dies in Afghanistan

COLUMBIA, S.C. — A soldier from South Carolina who was based in Georgia has died in Afghanistan.

The Pentagon said Monday that 43-year-Old Chief Warrant Officer Curtis S. Reagan of Summerville died Friday in Kandahar, Afghanistan, from a noncombat illness.

The Defense Department did not provide details on the death.

Reagan was assigned to the 603rd Aviation Support Battalion, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield, Ga.
