Army announces Guard and Reserve promotions to O-6

The following National Guard and Army Reserve lieutenant colonels have been recommended for promotion by the fiscal 2013 Army Promotion List Reserve of the Army colonel board that convened Jan. 23.

The lists, originally slated for release in May or June, were delayed because of administrative problems that required the board to reconvene. The Army has not provided specific information about why the lists were delayed.

The primary zone of consideration for the National Guard competitive category included APL lieutenant colonels with dates of rank of Oct. 1, 2006 through Sept. 30, 2007. A below-zone category was not authorized. The primary zone for Army Reserve O-5s included officers with dates of rank of April 1, 2008 through Dec. 31, 2009. The below-zone category included lieutenant colonels with dates of rank of Jan. 1, 2009 through Dec. 31, 2009.
