The bodies of a man and two children, described by authorities as military dependents, were discovered Tuesday morning in an on-post residence at Fort Hood, Texas, officials said.

Special agents from the Army Criminal Investigation Command are investigating the deaths. Fort Hood officials referred requests for further information to CID.

As the investigation continues, CID officials have said “there is no further threat to the community at this time.” The bodies were discovered about 7:15 a.m.

Officials have not identified the man and the two children, pending notification of their next of kin.
