HRC cancels taking down personnel systems

The Human Resources Command has delayed taking down several online personnel management applications during the President’s Day weekend because of “emerging mission requirements,” according to an announcement issued by the command Thursday.

HRC had planned to update its mainframe operating system from 3 a.m. today to 6 a.m. Tuesday, which would have resulted in the temporary outage of several applications, including the Total Officer Personnel Information Management System for active component officers, and the Integrated Total Army Personnel Data Base.

The command has not announced a new date for the database upgrade.
