Results will be released March 25 from the mandatory Army Promotion List captain board that met in December for National Guard and Army Reserve officers.

The zones of eligibility included Army Reserve first lieutenants of the Active Guard and Reserve and non-AGR Army Reserve first lieutenants, in addition to National Guard first lieutenants of the Army Promotion List competitive category.

National Guard officers with O-2 dates of rank of Sept. 1, 2009 through Aug. 31, 2010 were in the primary zone, as were Army Reserve first lieutenants with dates of rank of Aug. 1, 2011 through Jan. 31, 2012.

The selection lists do not require Senate confirmation and can be used for promotions as soon as scheduled by the Army.
