Fort Bragg commander suspended

A brigade commander at Fort Bragg, N.C., has been suspended amid an investigation, according to a press release on Thursday.

The commander, who was not named, was suspended pending an investigation into allegations of misconduct, according to the release.

No other details were immediately available.

“As this is an ongoing investigation, further information may be provided upon completion,” according to the release.

“This action reflects our profession’s continuous commitment to Army values, adherence to the highest standards of accountability and dedication to excellence while maintaining good order and discipline,” the release stated.
