Guard and Reserve activation checklist

In light of the ongoing wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, reservists, including Individual Ready Reserve members, can continue to expect possible activation.

Reservists may volunteer to serve or may be involuntarily recalled for national emergencies. But even when no emergency or presidential recall is in effect, there are ways for reservists to return to full-time status.

The following is a checklist of things that should be squared away before you are activated.
