Spec ops memorial to add 37 soldiers

The names of 37 special operations soldiers who have died in combat operations during the past year will be added to Army Special Operations Command’s Memorial Wall on Thursday.
At the 10 a.m. ceremony, commanding general Lt. Gen. Robert W. Wagner will also recognize five Korean War veterans who served in special operations during that conflict.
The soldiers whose names will be added to the Memorial Wall are:
3rd Special Forces Group
Staff Sgt. Kyu H. Chay of Taegu, South Korea, 1st Battalion.
Chief Warrant Officer Scott W. Dyer of Alexandria, Va., 3rd Battalion.
Sgt. 1st Class William R. Brown of White Settlement, Texas, 1st Battalion.
Sgt. 1st Class Tung M. Nguyen of Cantho, Vietnam, 2nd Battalion.
5th Special Forces Group
Sgt. Dustin M. Adkins of Finger, Tenn., Group Support Battalion.
Sgt. Daniel W. Winegeart of Lake Charles, La., Group Support Battalion.
7th Special Forces Group

The names of five Korean War veterans will also be added to the Memorial Wall. They are:
