Soldiers from the North Dakota Army National Guard’s 164th Engineer Battalion have returned to the U.S. after serving in Iraq for almost a year.
The 119 soldiers were scheduled to begin demobilizing Thursday at Camp Shelby, Miss., and they are expected to return to North Dakota by the weekend.
The soldiers were mobilized in June 2007, and they deployed to Iraq in September.
