Warrant officer promotion list due May 1

Selection lists containing the names of about 1,500 active-component warrant officers recommended for promotion to CW3, CW4 and CW5 will be released May 1.
The officers were selected for advancement by a board that met in February. The list went out to commanders Monday.
The primary zones of consideration for CW3 and CW4 included aviation officers with two to three years in grade, and technical services officers with three to four years TIG.
The zones for CW5 included aviation officers with five to six years in grade as W4s, and tech services officers with four to five years TIG.
Promotions off the new lists can begin as soon as scheduled by the Army.
May 1 promotions will complete the 2007 lists.
