Child porn charges for Wainwright soldier

FAIRBANKS, Alaska — A 22-year-old Fort Wainwright soldier has been charged with 90 counts of possessing child pornography.
Pfc. Arthur Jaster, of Ambrose, N.D., also faces a count of child pornography distribution, according to an indictment. He is scheduled for arraignment Tuesday.
Court records say Jaster had six videos featuring multiple children involved in sex acts. Some of the sex acts involved adults.
A Fort Wainwright spokeswoman says Jaster has been stationed at the Army post since last year and belongs to the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division.
Fairbanks police began investigating in February after a tip from detectives in the cyber crimes unit at the Anchorage Police Department.
