Paratrooper dies after he was shot off Bragg

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — A paratrooper has died from a gunshot wound he sustained at a residence outside Fort Bragg, the 82nd Airborne Division said Wednesday.
Spc. Tavis Tsinigine, 23, of Phoenix, died after being shot early Sunday. The shooting was being investigated.
Tsinigine was a crew chief on a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter and assigned to the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade. He joined the Army in 2004 and was trained to repair helicopters. He had deployed to Afghanistan for a year in January 2007.
