Soldier killed by roadside bomb in Baghdad

BAGHDAD — The U.S. military says an American soldier has been killed in a roadside bombing in northwestern Baghdad.
A statement says the blast occurred at approximately 9:20 p.m. Sunday.
The military has not released the name of the soldier, pending the notification of relatives.
