NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Nearly 300 Tennessee National Guardsmen are scheduled to return home in a week after a yearlong deployment to Iraq.

According to a news release from the Tennessee National Guard, members of the 1175th Transportation Company, composed of units from Tullahoma, Brownsville and Jacksboro, are currently at Fort Bragg, N.C. The guardsmen are expected to return to their home stations in a week, although no specific date has been announced.
