300 Va. guardsmen return home this week

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — About 300 Virginia Army National Guard soldiers are scheduled to return home this week after serving in the Middle East.
About 170 soldiers with Fox Company of the 429th Brigade Support Battalion will return to the Fredericksburg Armory on Wednesday. The 130 soldiers of Delta Company, 3rd Battalion of the 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, will return Thursday.
The Guard units left for training at Camp Shelby, Miss., in June 2007 and deployed in September.
