Army extends NCOER deadline

The deadline for submitting noncommissioned officer evaluation reports for the upcoming Regular Army sergeant major and Active Guard and Reserve (Army Reserve) promotion boards has been extended from May 14 to May 23.
The boards convene June 3 in Indianapolis for the active component, and in St. Louis on the same day for the Army Reserve.
The deadline extension is made possible by the ongoing transition to a single evaluation processing system for Regular Army and Army Reserve NCO reports at the Human Resources Command.
Officials expect that the Interactive Web Response System, currently unavailable for NCO reports, will be in operation May 14. The system will provide commanders and units with a new method for managing evaluations. A newly updated IWRS user’s guide can be accessed at the Evaluation Branch Web site.
