FORT RILEY, Kan. — Another group of Fort Riley soldiers will be coming home this weekend from war.
Post officials say about 150 soldiers from the 116th Military Police Company will be back in Kansas this weekend after a 15-month deployment to Iraq.
Specific information about the return and where they were serving in Iraq wasn’t immediately released.
About 3,000 Fort Riley soldiers are still deployed, including members of the 1st Infantry Division’s combat aviation brigade.
Later this year, the division’s 2nd Brigade Combat Team will deploy for a year to Iraq.
