LIVINGSTON, Mont. — The Livingston Police Department has recovered a Humvee stolen from the Army National Guard Armory and two men have been charged in the theft.
The Humvee, reported stolen on Oct. 21, was recovered Saturday in a remote area west of Livingston.
Lucas Lee, 19, and Steve A. Williams, 20, are charged in the theft. Police Chief Darren Raney says charges are pending against a 17-year-old boy.
The same three have also been identified as suspects in recent break-ins at a municipal water reservoir, two cell phone buildings and two other public radio transmission buildings.
Williams has been charged in the break-ins.
Police say the communications systems were not tampered with and preliminary tests indicate no presence of contaminants in the water. However, residents were being advised not to drink or use the water pending test results from the Environmental Protection Agency.
