Hood holds motorcycle ride, carnival

Lt. Gen. Rick Lynch, commanding general of III Corps and Fort Hood, Texas, will host a Phantom Thunder Motorcycle Ride on Nov. 7 starting at 11 a.m. at Hood Stadium.

Motorcycle riders will ride a scenic 58-mile route through the Texas Hill Country with a stop at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery to pay tribute to fallen warriors, according to a news release from III Corps.

Following the ride, Fort Hood will host a concert and carnival that is open to the local and regional communities.
