Reserve, Guard O-5 selections

Nearly 1,400 majors of the National Guard and Army Reserve have been recommended for advancement to lieutenant colonel by an Army Promotion List board that met in St. Louis during September. The primary zone of consideration included basic-branch Army Reserve majors with dates of rank of April 1, 2002, through March 31, 2003.
Below-zone selection opportunity was available to Army Reserve majors with DORs of April 1, 2003, through March 31, 2004.
