Reserve legal, health selections coming

Selection lists containing the names of active and reserve legal and health services officers recommended for promotion to major and lieutenant colonel will be released soon.
The annual reserve components Judge Advocate General’s Corps major selection list is slated for release June 25, and the active component Army Medical Department lieutenant colonel lists July 1.

The reserve selections were made by a board that in March, and included Army Reserve JAG corps captains with dates of rank of Sept. 1, 2002 through Aug. 31, 2003.
The active component AMEDD board also met in March, and had separate zones of consideration for officers of the Nurse Corps, Medical Service Corps, Medical specialist Corps and Veterinary Corps.
The primary zones focused on officers with dates of rank in 2003 and 2004.
Promotions off the new lists should begin soon after a Senate confirmation as the 2008 lists for the AMEDD corps were completed earlier this year.
