OKLAHOMA CITY — Military officials have confirmed an Army officer from Moore has been killed in Afghanistan.
The Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations Center in Dover, Del., confirmed Tuesday the death of 1st Lt. David T. Wright of Moore, Okla.
Military officials said additional details of Wright’s death and the unit he was assigned to have not been released yet. Wright’s body was scheduled to arrive at Dover Air Force Base on Tuesday night.
Wright, 26, graduated from Moore High School in 2002 and is the son of a police officer.
