Service for Bragg soldiers killed in attack

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — A memorial service will be held in Greensboro for two North Carolina Army Reserve soldiers killed in Afghanistan.
Capt. Benjamin Sklaver of Medford, Mass. and Pfc. Alan Newton of Asheboro, died Oct. 2 in Murcheh, Afghanistan, after they were attacked by a suicide bomber. Both were assigned to the 422nd Civil Affairs Battalion.
A memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon Stallings Ballroom in the Memorial Student Union on the campus of North Carolina A&T University.
