Lt. col. promotion lists delayed

The release of the fiscal 2010 Army Competitive Category lieutenant colonel promotion selection lists have been delayed, according to the Human Resources Command.
The lists — containing the names of active component Maneuver, Fires and Effects; Operations Support; and Force Sustainment officers recommended for advancement to O-5 — had been slated for release June 30.
The HRC announcement, posted June 23, did not provide a reason for the delay, or provide a new release date.
Once released, the lists must be confirmed by the Senate before the Army can schedule promotions.
