Bliss soldier arrested, charged in stabbing

EL PASO, Texas — A 23-year-old Fort Bliss soldier is in jail in El Paso after being arrested in a weekend stabbing.
El Paso police said they arrested Spc. Randy Cuellar on Sunday morning and jailed him on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Authorities said Cuellar stabbed Daniel Aguilar, 28, during an early morning fight. Police said Aguilar suffered neck and back injuries.
Cuellar remained in El Paso County jail on Monday with bond set at $40,000. It was not clear if he had a lawyer.
Cuellar is assigned to 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, out of Fort Bliss.
