ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Authorities are investigating the death of a Fort Richardson soldier at his Eagle River home.
Army officials said the soldier’s wife called 911 when she found her husband unresponsive late Saturday night.
Anchorage police and members of the fire department performed CPR, then declared the soldier dead at 12:15 a.m. Sunday.
The cause of death is not known.
Officials have not released the name of the soldier, a member of the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division.
