Enlisted criteria for March 1 promotion

Soldiers who held recommended list status as of Jan. 20 through Feb. 8, and who meet or exceed the cutoff scores for March are eligible to be promoted March 1 as follows:

Primary zone

72 months TIS and 10 months TIG

Secondary zone

71 months TIS (less than 72 months) and nine months TIG (less than 10 months)

Rank

Spc./cpl. to sgt.

Primary zone

36 months TIS and eight months TIG

Secondary zone

35 months TIS (less than 36 months) and seven months (less than eight months) TIG

Airborne Advantage

The airborne advantage can be applied in March to the specialties listed below. Soldiers drawing jump pay, and who are assigned to positions coded with skill qualification identifier P, S or V can deduct 65 points for scores to sergeant, and 25 points for scores to staff sergeant.

To Sergeant: 12R, 12W, 12Y, 13B, 13F, 13R, 13T, 14S, 15B, 15D, 15E, 15F, 15G, 15H, 15J, 15N, 15W, 25B, 25C, 25F, 25M, 25N, 25P, 25R, 25U, 27D, 29E, 35F, 35L, 35M, 35N, 35P, 36B, 42A, 42F, 46Q, 46R, 56M, 68A, 74D, 88N, 89A, 91C, 91F, 91L, 92A, 92L, 92W, 92Y, 94F, 94T

To Staff Sergeant: 12H, 15N, 25C, 25E,       25M, 25R, 29E, 35P, 46Q, 46R, 68J, 68S, 89B, 92Y

STAR MOSs in which additional promotions would have been authorized for March if more soldiers in these shortage military occupational specialties were on selection lists.
