August 2011 officer promotion update

Colonel

Army Category

August promotions will be made from the fiscal 2010 lists. The 2011 board is scheduled for Aug. 16-30. Zones of consideration, evaluation report deadlines and other board information were announced May 5 as MilPer Message 11-138.

JAG Corps

February promotions completed the 2010 list, which originally had 18 names. The 2011 board meets July 26-28. Zones of consideration were announced May 3 in MilPer Message 11-133.

Chaplain Corps

July promotions will complete the 2010 list. The 2011 board met June 7-9. Results are pending release and Senate confirmation.

Medical Corps

August promotions will be made from the 2009 list, leaving just 10 names. The 2010 list was released in September 2010. The 2011 board convenes Aug. 30, as announced May 17 in MilPer Message 11-151.

Dental Corps

Only one name remains on the 2009 list. The 2010 list was released in September 2010. The 2011 board convenes Aug. 30, as announced May 17 in MilPer Message 11-151.
