Guard/Reserve O-3 list to be released March 1

A selection list containing the names of National Guard and Army Reserve officers recommended for promotion to captain will be released March 1.

The officers were selected for advancement by the annual Army Promotion List captain board that met in November at Fort Knox, Ky.

The fiscal 2012 Army Competitive Category active-duty captain board also met in November, but a release date has not yet been scheduled for the selection list.

The APL captain board had separate zones of consideration for basic-branch first lieutenants.

The primary zone for the National Guard category included O-2s with dates of rank of Sept. 1, 2007, through Aug. 31, 2008.

The primary zone for the Army Reserve category included first lieutenants with dates of rank of Jan. 1, 2010, through Nov. 30, 2010.
