The Human Resources Command at Fort Knox, Ky., has launched the first phase of a two-part program to streamline and upgrade its website.

The website, located at https://www.hrc.army.mil, provides a diverse menu of information and services dealing with personnel policies and programs, to include assignments, promotions, career management, separations and retirements.

New features available at the site include:

• An advanced search capability that directs users to relevant pages on a particular item of interest.

• A navigation menu and dynamic content bar for linking soldiers to new updates and pages on career issues, promotions, benefits and family services.

• A new emphasis on social-media integration, to include the delivery of information via Facebook and YouTube.

The second phase of the HRC website redesign is scheduled for completion in May.

A major feature of that upgrade will allow users to tailor the website experience to fit individual needs.

The new website allows users to rate each page they access and use. Comments will be used by HRC officials in the ongoing redesign project.
