Two 3rd Infantry Division soldiers have been charged with murder in the deaths of two fellow soldiers.

Sgt. Shaquille Craig and Spc. Phillip Thompson, both 24, are accused of murdering Pvt. Malika Jackson and Spc. Marquez Brown, according to a Thursday release from the Army.

Jackson, 21, and Brown, 23, were found shot to death in a Hinesville, Georgia, apartment on the night of March 8 following an anonymous tip to police. They had been seen alive that morning, the Associated Press reported.

Jackson, a tank mechanic, joined in the Army in May 2016 and had been with the 3rd Infantry Division’s 2nd Brigade Combat Team since October.

Brown, a wheeled-vehicle driver, joined in 2014 and had been with the brigade since April 2016.
