| BEAR PROGRAM UPDATES The Bonus Extension and Retraining program was last updated in April. It applies to soldiers in overstrength military occupational specialties who retrain and reclassify in a shortage MOS. Soldiers serving under the BEAR program may have up to 24 months of previously obligated service forgiven, provided they re-enlist for the Regular Army re-up option within 90 days after completing MOS training. |
