| Airborne advantage | ||
| The airborne advantage can be applied to the following specialties for September promotions. Soldiers drawing jump pay, and who are assigned to positions coded with skill qualification identifier P, S or V can deduct 65 points for scores to sergeant and 25 points for scores to staff sergeant. | ||

| STAR MOSs are jobs in which additional promotions would have been authorized for September if more soldiers in these military occupational specialties were on selection lists. Soldiers holding one of the STAR military occupational specialties should be given high priority for Warrior Leader Course attendance due to their increased promotion potential. | ||
