Guard, Reserve O-3, O-4 medical selections out

Nearly 750 National Guard and Army Reserve health services officers have been recommended for promotion to major and captain by boards that met in St. Louis during January.
The annual reserve component Army Medical Department boards selected 401 of the 1,197 officers it considered, for an overall select rate of 34 percent.
Selections and select rates for promotion to major are:
21 for Army Reserve Active Guard and Reserve, 48 percent.
320 for non-AGR Army Reserve, 30 percent.
60 for National Guard, 79 percent.
The captain board reviewed the files of 611 officers, and selected 344, for an overall select rate of 56 percent.
Competitive category selections and select rates are:
Five for Army Reserve Active Guard and Reserve, 100 percent.
287 for non AGR Army Reserve, 52 percent.
52 for National Guard, 56 percent.
