DENVER — A Colorado National Guard soldier accused of stealing recruiting bonuses has pleaded guilty to felony theft.
The Denver Post reports 31-year-old Christopher Thomas Clark entered his plea Thursday and was given a four-year deferred judgment. The Adams County District Attorney's Office says the charges will be dropped if he does not re-offend during that time.
Clark was accused of receiving $28,000 in fraudulent recruiting bonuses for recruiting people to join the National Guard through the Guard recruiting assistance program.
