COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A former Fort Carson soldier is waiting to be sentenced after jurors found him guilty of stealing more than $20,000 in gear.

The Colorado Springs Gazette reports military equipment was seized from Torrence Hall's home in 2013, including grenade launchers, optical zoom sights and gun cylinders.

The jury found Hall not guilty on the charge of possessing a machine gun.

Hall's lawyer, Matt James, said he and his client were disappointed, and may appeal the decision. His sentencing hearing is set for July 10, when he'll face the possibility of spending four years in jail.
