The Army West Point men's basketball team has never played in the NCAA tournament, but one of its members could get his own dose of March Madness — with enough online support.

Voters can go here to cast their ballots and see highlights of the participants. First-round voting ends Wednesday.

In addition to the dunkers, the State Farm-sponsored event also includes 3-point shooting contests for male and female college stars. Those fields haven't been announced, but Army West Point senior Kelsey Minato has made a strong case this season, leading the Black Knight women with 23.8 points per game and shooting 47.5 percent from behind the 3-point arc, one of the best rates in the nation.

Minato also bested NBA star Stephen Curry in a 3-point shootout at West Point in 2014, when Curry visited along with fellow Team USA members led by head coach (and West Point alum) Mike Krzyzewski. Coach K's refereeing may have helped a bit.

However, Minato's March schedule may have a conflict: The Army West Point women are 20-2 on the season and lead the Patriot League, clear favorites to earn an NCAA women's tournament berth by winning the league tourney in early March.

Plomb leads the West Point men's team with 21.4 points per game and ranks third in rebounds with 113 on the year.

The Black Knights (14-11) visit American University in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, then host Holy Cross on Wednesday before a Feb. 20 visit to the Naval Academy. Army fell to the Midshipmen 64-50 at West Point on Feb. 1 in a game originally slated for New York's Madison Square Garden, but relocated because of last month's blizzard.
