Authorities are looking for Pvt. Trevor Solomon, a soldier from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, who has been missing since last week, according to local TV station WKRN.

Solomon, who is assigned to the 63rd Chemical Company, 52nd Ordnance Group, has been listed as being absent without leave after not reporting to duty on June 22, said WKRN.

Officials told WKRN that authorities from Kentucky, Tennessee, and Solomon’s hometown in Oklahoma are working to find the soldier.

His mother, Rebecca Buck, told the TV station that her son had been stationed at Fort Campbell for six to eight months.

"He’s a good person. He has a good heart. He wears his heart on his sleeve like I do," Buck told WKRN, who last heard from him via text on June 15.

Anyone who has any information on Solomon’s whereabouts is asked to contact military police at Fort Campbell by calling (270) 798-0416.

"Please come home. Your brothers and your sisters miss you. Your little niece and nephew want to see you again. Come home. Go back to the base. Turn yourself in. I love you very much, son. I don’t care what it is. Just call me. Mama is always there, I promise," Buck said.
