Earlier this week, Bryana Salaz said earlier this week that if she were eliminated after her live national television debut Tuesday on NBC's "The Voice," "it'll crush me for about five minutes, and then I'll get up and keep going."

Salaz, Wednesday the 17, -year-old daughter of Col. Ed Salaz, a colonel was eliminated during Wednesday Wednsday night's results show as the show pared each of four different five-member teams down to three.

The high school senior living in the St. Louis area The daughter of Col. Ed Salaz said she had no regrets about her performance of the song "Amnesia" by 5 Seconds of Summer. She admitted it wasn't technically perfect, but felt a strong connection to the song, which she dedicated to veterans during the Veterans Day performance.

"I haven't connected with a song like that before," said Salaz, the Army brat who has attended four different high schools.

She said it's taken a bit longer than five minutes now that the show's over for her, but that she'll be fine.

"I am taking it a little hard. It's def really hard to want something that bad and have it literally gone in the blink of an eye," Salaz said Friday. "I'll be ok, just got to keep moving forward."

Salaz chose to be on Team Gwen, named for Gwen Stefani, which she said was the most close-knit team, after three judges pushed buttons to offer spots on their team in the blind audition phase. She The high school senior living in the St. Louis area called working with Stefani "phenomenal."

She still plans on working on a musical career as she eyes UCLA's music business program.
