May, June officer promotion orders released

Officer promotion orders reflecting June advancements to the ranks of chief warrant officer three through colonel and May advancements to first lieutenant and chief warrant officer two have been published by the Human Resources Command.

The May promotions will go to junior officers whose names appeared on promotion scrolls approved by Defense Secretary Ashton Carter on May 1 for first lieutenants and May 4 for warrant officers one. The approval process was delayed several weeks because of the implementation of new promotion screening procedures.
