During the transition to the new uniforms soldiers will be able to wear any of three ACU patterns in garrison: the new OCP pattern, the MultiCam pattern issued for Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan since 2010, and the predominant, digital gray-green Universal Camouflage Pattern.

Soldiers must all switch over to OCP by Oct. 1, 2019.
