MC and DC colonel lists to be released Jan. 14

Selection lists containing the names of Regular Army doctors and dentists recommended for promotion to colonel will be released Wednesday morning.

The promotion lists, which require Senate confirmation, were compiled by a board that met in September. The primary zone of consideration included Medical Corps and Dental Corps officers promoted to lieutenant colonel in fiscal 2010.

MC and DC promotions to colonel currently are being made from the 2013 selection lists. February promotions will reduce the Medical Corps roster to 55 names, and Dental Corps roster to seven names.
