The Army plans 484 promotions to chief warrant officer three through colonel in the Regular Army for September, including a final increment of advancements off the 2014 Army Competitive Category selection lists for captain and chief warrant officer ranks.

The final monthly promotion plan for fiscal 2015 authorizes 38 ACC advancements to colonel and 114 to major.

The Army has not scheduled any ACC promotions to lieutenant colonel, as the new O-5 selection list released July 30 is pending Senate confirmation.

There are 80 ACC promotions authorized for captain, which will exhaust the current 4,400-name list. A new list compiled by a board that met in the spring is pending release.

There will be four promotions to CW5 in September, 28 to CW4 and 68 to CW3, which will complete the 2014 list. A new list compiled by a board that met in April and May is pending release.

Within the special branches, the September promotion plan will complete the colonel, lieutenant colonel and major lists for the Medical Corps and Dental Corps, along with the Medical Service Corps list for major, and the Medical Service Corps, Chaplain and Nurse Corps lists for captain.
