Warrant officer promotion lists to be released Oct. 14

Selection lists compiled by the senior chief warrant officer boards that met in May will be released Wednesday.

The lists do not require Senate confirmation, and promotions can begin as soon as scheduled by the Army.

The fiscal 2014 selection lists for CW5, CW4 and CW3 were completed Sept. 1, which means advancements off the new lists could begin in October or November.

More than 1,000 warrant officers were considered by the board.
