Army names officers selected for promotion to colonel

The Army announced Thursday the names, branches, functional areas and sequence numbers of the lieutenant colonels recommended for promotion.

The officers in Operations, Operations Support and Force Sustainment Regular Army were selected by the Army Competitive Category colonel board that met in May.

The promotion nominations must be confirmed by the Senate before the Army can schedule promotions.
