HRC websites offline, getting 'emergency maintenance'

The Human Resources Command was performing emergency maintenance on its websites www.hrc.army and www.hrcapps.army.mil on Friday, which required that several personnel management applications to be pulled offline.

Affected applications include the Soldier Management System, the My Record Portal and third-party verifications.

The temporary outage means that officers in the zones of consideration for the following boards cannot review their board files:

■ The fiscal 2014 Medical Corps and Dental Corps colonel promotion boards

■ The fiscal 2015 Army Medical Department brigadier general and Chief of Chaplain promotion boards

■ The 2015 Chaplain Corps major board; the fiscal 2016 brigade- and battalion-level command boards for the Army Competitive Category

■ The 2015 Army Reserve general officer assignment advisory board.

As of Friday morning, HRC did not estimate when the websites were expected to go back online.
