The head of the 16th Military Police Brigade at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, has resumed command following a month-long investigation, an XVIII Airborne Corps spokesman told Army Times.

Col. Larry Dewey was temporarily suspended on Oct. 19 and has since been cleared of misconduct.


“Col. Larry Dewey was reinstated [Friday] as the 16th Military Police Brigade commander after an internal investigation found no wrongdoing on his part,” Col. Joe Scrocca, the corps spokesman, said.

Dewey’s investigation first came to light in early November in a post by U.S. Army W.T.F.! Moments.
